Did you miss all the wheeling and dealing on this trade deadline Monday?

The Habs were busy. First, they sent defenceman and pending unrestricted free agent Brett Kulak to the Edmonton Oilers for a second-round pick and defenceman William Lagesson.

Then they made a big splash, trading Artturi Lehkonen to the Colorado Avalanche for a 2024 second rounder and prospect defenceman Justin Barron, a former first-round choice.

Finally, general manager Kent Hughes did goaltender Andrew Hammond a solid and sent him to the New Jersey Devils for farmhand Nate Schnarr. With Jake Allen back and Carey Price on the mend, Hammond will have a better shot at sticking in the NHL in Newark.

Defenceman David Savard will make his return to the lineup after being out with an ankle injury.
