Thankfully for the Leafs, Erik Kallgren delivered in his first NHL start, otherwise Frederik Andersen’s co league-leading 2.06 goals against average would be even more prominent a story line. Andersen and the Leafs still have to transfer their regular season success into a respective playoff series win, but kudos to the Dane for showing many detractors that he’s still a No. 1, while Toronto has already gone through five goalies this season.
