The Philadelphia Flyers will be without Joel Farabee for the next four weeks, as the young winger is dealing with an upper-body injury.

Things are just continuing to get worse for the Flyers right now. They have lost 10 straight contests and now have another one of their important players out for a decent chunk of time. It will be hard for them to get back into the playoff picture, but especially when remembering that they have a 13-19-8 record. Alas, they will have to try to go on a big run without Farabee, too.

In 33 games this season, Farabee has 11 goals, seven assists, and a plus-1 rating. Although his production has slowed down a bit from last season, he still has been one of their top performers yet again this campaign. That is expected of him, however, as he of course signed a six-year, $30 million contract with the team during the offseason.

The injury bug hasn’t been kind to the Flyers as of late. Kevin Hayes has been ruled out for multiple weeks as well, too. Alas, their absences will open the door for other forwards to step in.

Here’s to hoping Farabee can return ahead of schedule.
