Harris joined the Canadiens this year after completing his career at Boston’s Northeastern University. He appeared in 10 games with the Canadiens, scoring a goal and finishing with a plus-3 rating.
Farrell, who was drafted in the first round in 2020 (No. 124 overall), recently completed his first season with Harvard, scoring 10 goals and adding 18 assists in 24 games. He took time out from the college season to represent the U.S. at the Beijing Olympics, where he had three goals and three assists in four games.
The U.S. roster also includes former Canadien Alex Galchenyuk, an impending unrestricted free agent after collecting six goals and 15 assists in 60 games with the Arizona Coyotes.
