The 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs have advanced to the second round, which will begin on Tuesday, May 2nd. The Eastern Conference Second Round will feature the Toronto Maple Leafs hosting the Florida Panthers in Game 1, while the Carolina Hurricanes will face the winner of Game 7 between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils.

In the Western Conference Second Round, the Seattle Kraken will visit the Dallas Stars for Game 1, and the Vegas Golden Knights will host the Edmonton Oilers in Las Vegas. The first round of the playoffs featured several exciting matchups, including rematches of the 2022 first-round series with the Maple Leafs vs. Lightning and the Oilers vs. Kings4. The playoffs consist of four rounds throughout the entire postseason – first round, second round, conference finals, and Stanley Cup Final. The top team in the conference plays the second wild-card team in the first round, while the other divisional matchups are based on seeding.
